Laverne Ong is classically trained in both voice and piano and teaching music since 2003. She has been teaching school choirs for more than 10 years. She first started out joining songwriting competitions from the age of 16, clinching 1st 2nd and 3rd places twice each. As a COMPASS member, Laverne has sold songs abroad. She has also performed for events like Esplanade, wedding gigs and fundraising galas. Occasionally she conducts music workshops for corporate organisations like HSA and churches.
